Loving learning new languages

When I was little (and I lost half of the readers here), when I was little I interpreted living as learning a set of rules.

I was eager to know what the next rules were; I was envious of the adults, who seemed to navigate easily through these rules. Did I love the rules? I don’t think so — but I loved discovering them.

Learning a new language implies coming across a new set of rules. It’s nothing less than pleasure the first time you manage to apply some rules and your interlocutor gets what you mean.

You’ve just figured out by which rules this specific part of the world works.

And what happens when the language is not a human language, but a machine language as HTML and CSS ? In this case, your interlocutor shows that you’ve been understood materializing the new worlds you can conceive on a website.

Learning Web Development means learning a new set of rules and at the same time having a privileged discussion partner. It’s more than pleasure: it’s a party for communication.
